Difference between Biltong & Jerky .

What is Biltong we have to ask ? If you haven't heard of biltong, it's time you get your hands on a package of this dry meat @https://tasteofafrica.site

Biltong is a South African style of jerky.

It's VERY similar with slight differences in it’s processing , taste and texture that makes the difference on the end result.

With our Jerky, there are 2 options

We take a big hunk of meat, trim it up, slice it up and then marinate the slices , or we use ground beef and marinate it .

When the marinating is done, we put the meat in a dehydrator or smoked,to remove the moisture...that makes jerky! @https://tasteofafrica.site

Ingredients : marinade , ground black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder and salt A variety of sauces, such as Soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce and water

With our Biltong,

We only use Angus beef, we use the  meat cut 'fillets ". We cut it into strips following the grain , or flat pieces sliced very thin.

The beef that's used to make biltong season it and then dry the meat for days and days! After the meat has been dried, THEN we slice it up.

This difference in the process adds a texture and flavor that is different from jerky.

It's different, identifiable, unique and delicious! If you are a jerky fan and you've never tried Biltong...do yourself a favor and try this!

Ingredients : marinade , ground black pepper, salt and coriander, A variety of sauces, such as Worcestershire sauce & Vinegar

We import spaces with no msg to make the different snacks flavors
